Capital One’s 20-floor headquarters, located just outside Washington, D.C., is a state-of-the-art facility featuring over 350 Zoom Rooms and meeting spaces. The integration of AV technology throughout the building creates seamless connectivity and improves productivity for employees.
In the C-Level conference rooms, direct-view LED displays with a 1.5mm pitch offer bright, high-quality images, even with natural light streaming in. The welcome space is equipped with several 12’ x 7’ direct-view LED video walls, creating an immersive experience for visitors. Conference rooms feature large 98-inch displays, HD PTZ cameras, and integrated control systems, providing a professional and efficient meeting environment. Additionally, the Security Operations Center utilizes multiple 98-inch displays to form a video wall, enabling continuous monitoring of the building’s security systems.
This project was a collaborative effort involving Capital One as the owner, HITT Contracting as the general contractor, CallisonRTKL as the consultant, and Ford Audio-Video Systems as the AV design-build contractor. Ford AV’s expertise in creating advanced audiovisual solutions played a key role in transforming Capital One’s headquarters into a modern, connected workspace.
