Reno-Tahoe International Airport services over 4 million travelers each year. In 2009, the airport remodeled the airport to enhance baggage screening equipment and give the interiors a modern Tahoe theme. Ford was contracted to implement the audio updates across the airport so communication between employees and travelers was reliable and easy to use.
Features
- Ambient noise sensors provide feedback to the system about the sound level surrounding the speakers so that output levels can be adjusted in real-time to compensate for noise
- Shallow speakers enable versatile installation in a variety of places to ensure a high level of speech intelligibility is maintained
