Managed Services / Service Level Agreements

One comprehensive service agreement covers the purchasing, design, installation, and service of all corporate Audio/Video assets, and the training and support of all corporate Audio/Video users. Enterprise level management of A/V technology maximizes the effectiveness of corporate meetings by minimizing disruptions from technical failures and improper employee operation. The agreement is customizable and each service and support offering is optional. The customer may tailor the agreement to meet their specific needs, requirements, and budget.

Similar to Service Level Agreements that have been utilized for data centers and data networks, Ford AV has created a specialized service program for customers that operate and depend upon large and complex audio video systems. The Media Operation Service Agreement or "MOSA" is spcifically developed to encompass all aspects of operation, maintenance, and procurement of A/V systems.

Purchase Options Cover All Contingencies From Simple To Complex:

Box Purchases:

    Purchase of equipment only (no engineering or installation). Individual Items of equipment are sold and priced at a low markup (internet pricing) over Ford AV’s cost.

Time and Materials:

    Purchase of equipment and labor on an as needed basis. Cost of labor is based upon rates established in the MOSA. Cost of equipment and materials is based upon a markup over cost established by the MOSA.

Engineered Systems – Custom Design/Build to Customer’s Specifications:

    A/V systems are engineered and installed by Ford AV to meet the Customer’s specifications, specific needs, and time frame. Fast Track projects and installation in existing corporate facilities are accommodated. Cost of labor for design and installation is provided based upon labor rates established by the MOSA. Cost of equipment and materials is based upon a markup over cost established by the MOSA.

Engineered Systems Utilizing Industry Experts and Consultants:

    The Ford AV design and installation team will partner with industry experts and consultants to bring the best solutions to the Customer. Cost for experts and consultants are passed through to the Customer with no mark up. Cost of Ford AV labor for design and installation is provided based upon labor rates established by the MOSA. Cost of equipment and materials is based upon a markup over cost established by the MOSA.

Customer Support And Service Options Cover All Contingencies:

Live Technical Support in Real Time

    Ford AV’s Media Operations Center(MOC©) provides immediate live support by a Ford AV engineer connected directly to the Customer’s meeting room. The Ford AV engineer corrects problems in real time so that the meeting can continue with minimal interruption. This option requires Ford AV communications hardware and software to be installed in the Customer’s meeting room.

Equipment Service and Maintenance – Full Time on Customer’s Premises:

    Ford AV will provide A/V technicians and equipment operators to meet the Customer specific requirements for routine maintenance and daily support.

A/V System Operation – Full Time on Customer’s Premises:

    Ford AV will provide A/V equipment operators to meet the Customer specific requirements for the setup and operation of A/V systems for meetings, training, and special events.

Equipment Service and Maintenance – Dispatched On An As Needed Basis:

    Ford AV service technicians may be dispatched as needed. Cost is based on a per call basis per the MOSA.

Warranty Protection:

    Ford AV negotiates long term equipment warranty agreements with A/V manufactures for the benefit of the Customer. Total Cost of Ownership is lower for A/V technology purchases.

Cost:

The cost of labor and equipment is based on a minimum annual purchasing amount; the greater the amount of the annual purchasing agreement, the lower the cost to the Customer. Labor rates and the cost of equipment for all categories of work performed by Ford AV is established within the MOSA.

The MOSA provides the customer with a single document that controls cost and delivers the lowest possible cost for A/V purchases and service.
